Starch saccharification

In the production of potable distilled alcohol, the digested, liquefied starch is enzymatically split into fermentable sugar.

Distizym® AG
A special enzyme for application in alcohol production for the saccharification of mashes containing liquefied starch. Produced from a selected strain of Aspergillus niger. The main enzyme activity is based on a glucoamylase.

Distizym® AG ALPHA
A combination enzyme which is applied in alcohol production of distilling mashes derived from farinaceous materials for the saccharification of the liquefied starch. The enzyme is produced from specially selected strains of Aspergillus niger and Aspergillus oryzae.

Distizym® AG-7
Glucoamylase for the saccharification of starch in distilling mashes.

Distizym® FUNGAL ALPHA
Thermotolerant fungal-alpha-amylase active in the neutral and weakly acidic pH-range, applied for starch conversion in distilling mashes from farinaceous raw materials.
